Gear sets for 7955 and 7985 Wher can I get em.
I need some gear sets for 7955 and 7985 Hitec servos. Does anyone know where I can get them? I can't find a listing anywhere on line. Help.

RE: Gear sets for 7955 and 7985 Wher can I get em.
I checked servo city when I was making the rounds on the internet. They carry all kinds of hitec gears just not the ones I need.

Later:Just seen on another forum, which can not be linked to here, dated 05-29-2012:
" The 7955 gear set is not currently available as a separate item. You can use the 7954 steel gears (part# 55325/$27.99) or the 5990 gears which are the same but super pricey! (#55319/$69.95) What is the situation with the 7955 because they shouldn't have developed any slop? 7985 gears (part#55314) Try http://www.servocity.com- Mike."
"Note that the Titanium gears in Hitec servos will typically never develop slop or break so if there is a problem with them they are handled by our service dept. as a warranty item. A tight spot if moved by hand is typically just the tight tolerances and not a bad gear... have you opened it up to look at it? Since servo gears are never truly 100% round if you rotate one of the gears then it may help with this situation. Does it seem to be affected if powered normally? Mike. "
