Default Updates?

I am very happy with my Aurora 9. I have servo and the receiver/transmitter re programers. Should I update the software or leave it.I know for a fact that the receivers and transmitter are not the same release. transmitter is about 3 yrs old. Let me know, I I don't want to mess with something that works perfectly.

Default RE: Updates?

Yes, definitly update the TX, the RF module and the RXs. You can do them yourself if you have the HP-22 programe. 6 channel Rx must go back to Hitec for free update.

Lots of improvements have been made since March 2010 or so when I first got my A9. You can go to the Hitec RCD website and see the various updates and details of changes. Takes about 10 min to do once you hook things up.

Good luck!

There is a very wise old adage "If it's not broke don't fix it"
However in this instance. if you fly GP models, intend to use the new Minima receivers or the new Telemetry stations
and add-ons, then you wil need to update one or more of the three parts, Transmitter, Module or transceiver.
Unfortunately, often updating one unit means another must also be updated.
