Hitec Advanced Telemetry Pkg Discontinued
#1

Sir/Madame:
The Hitec Advanced Telemetry Package is now showing as "discontinued" at retail outlets. What does Hitec have in the oven as a replacement or new offering and how soon will it be available? Thanks

I hope not,I just purchased this week the advanced station along with an HT-AS airspeed sensor and a temp sensor for a racing airplane. These were in stock at Tower Hobby.

Only in USA is the full package temporarily discontinued, due to one part only, as under:
. Telemetry - HTS-VM Variometer. extract
"07 March 2013: Update:
. HTS-VM - Variometer Sales Discontinued in USA
Hitec USA has chosen to discontinue the Vario and any combos including it at this time until its implementation can be improved.
If you have purchased one and are unhappy with it then please contact us and we will swap it out for something of equal value. -
Mike Mayberry, Hitec/Multiplex USA
. The hardware is valid, it's the ability to get the data to the pilot that is lacking. - Mike."
All other parts are still available.
It is regretable that some stores show an item to be discontinued meaning in their own store inventory only,
they do not clarify that the manufacturer has not discontinued all of the included items and that they are available
separately.
