Default Hitec HS-322HD compatible with Fuaba?

I bought a set of HS-322HD and I'm useing them with a Futaba 2.4Ghz and they are ratcheting, not smooth. Is this normal?

Do not understand "ratcheting" but there should not be any problem unless of course the voltage is to high or to low.
