Hitec Aurora 9 Tx.problem.
I have been using my Aurora 9 for about 2 years and have had no problems until now. It is really a fantastic Tx ,as well as being so easy to set up.
The problem is that although the Tx.is switched off, the tx.battery slowly goes flat after about a week.I have used either the original Nimh.battery, a lipo or a life, The tx. works perfectly but all go flat after about a week with the unit switched off.. I have flown with it on both a flight sim, as well as a model and there is drainage when flying.
A further minor problem which may or may not be connected, is that the on off switch is very tight and needs force to move
.However it does switch the tx. off with no sign of any problem.
I realise that the tx. will have to be sent to the Australian agent for repairs although it was purchased from Tower Hobbies.
I would be interested to see if any one else has had a similar problem
