Hitec Sensor Station in gas airplane?

I was curious if using the sensor station with a gas engine would cause any unwanted interference? Has anyone else tried it? I see on the sensor it says for nitro engines. Just want to be sure before i try to fly it with the newnew equipment.. thanks
