Feather Receiver
Mike I am using a Feather 4 channel FM receiver in a 20 to 40 size SPAD type airplane. I am running a Webra 20 size engine. I know the range is limited to about 600 to 700 safely and about 1000 ft max. I will be flying this airplane in at very close range most of the time.
Do you think the engine vibration will eventually be too much for this little reciever?

RE: Feather Receiver
Interesting that I just posted this reply to the question before your's http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Rece...1173874/tm.htm
The Feather is not suitable for that application. I would use a 555 or Electron as my top choices or the 04MB as a more inexpensive alternative. It also uses the same crystal as the Feather but has full range.
Mike.

RE: Feather Receiver
Is it because the Feather is limited by range or is it that the Feather can't withstand the vibration of a glow engine. Like I said, the airplane will rarely be more than 300 ft away from me.
