Default Royal EVO 12 Synthesized

I am curious if there are plans for a Freq. Scanner Module in the 72MHZ Freq. for the EVO. That is actually one of the reasons I purchased it, did not know at that time it is currently only available for the 40/41 Mhz and 36 Mhz models and does not come installed with system. Also, where can I purchase the PC interface cable, One did not come with radio as I thought, and have not been able to locate one.

Well ..... I thought the frequency scanner was part of the package.
Now I find out it's an option that isn't available. .... [:@]

I am interested in the EVO, but the freq. scanner was a big part of the interest, along with synthesized frequencies.

Keep us posted please ! [:-]

MustangFan,

Like you, I thought the Frequency scanner came preinstalled in the EVO 12 Synthesized system, but after purchasing it and reading a piece of paper that came with it, discovered it is not installed, and at this time is not even an option on the 72 Mhz band, only the 40 and 36 Mhz bands. Also thought the interface cable was included to interface with PC's for updates but is not, so gonna have to obtain one of those as well, but all in all, still like the system alot.

Mike will answer, he answered my post earlier today.

Good luck with your new EVO 12. I have a Profi 4000 that I am very pleased with. Although I would really like the synthesized frequency stuff also.
