SERVO TESTING
A few weeks ago I plowed my heli into the ground ( Got too cocky )
I use 425's all around and a 925 on the tail.
1, 425 servo stripped the gears " eaisy repair " and the remaining 4 appear OK.
Is there any way I can test or check if they all still work 100 %.
Thanks in advance
Fred..

RE: SERVO TESTING
One trick I've found that gives me a pretty good idea if everything is really okay is the "Freeze Test". What I do is put the receiver and servos in the freezer over night. I have them all plugged in, and ready to go, but leave the battery out. In the morning, I'll go get everything ready. Turn on the Tx, then grab the Rx and servos out of the freezer, plug in a good battery, and make sure everything works right away. If something doesn't work until it warms up, you have a crack somewhere, and it will most likely cause a crash. This isn't a definitive test necessarily, but it usually gives me a pretty good idea if everything is ok or not.

My servos passed the test. Know I know my radio will work
at - 18 C . To bad I will not LOL
Say, What and where do you fly ?

RE: SERVO TESTING
Another alternative from Hitec is their servo programmer. You can test any servo with it, whether it be analog or digital. I've gotten in the habit of connecting my programmer to a new servo and setting the programmer on auto test for ~15 minutes. If that servo can survive maximum left and right deflections for 15 minutes its not going to give me a problem in the air.
