Default servo lead lengths, etc.

mike (or whomever knows this): i'm getting ready to order my airborne electronics for my winter project, & need to know how long the leads are on the hs-475 servos, so i'll know whether to order extensions or not. also, what is the length of the leads (from where they split, outward) of the hitec y-connector; this, too, will be a factor in determining need for extensions. other question: using the flash 5X, & i believe, switch 3 to operate it, i'm planning on installing a servo-operated kill switch for gas engine. does this need to be a certain kind of servo, or will just a garden-variety 425 or so do it? thanks!! -daniel [email protected]

Default RE: servo lead lengths, etc.

Standard size servo lead lenght is 12". The Y-harness will vary with the lenght. A standard servo is fine for a kill switch.

Mike.
