I am not clear on digital servos . So here is another bumb question
According to the Hitec FAQ on digital servos
" The digital micro processor is 10 times faster than an analog servo "
So what this is saying a digital such as a Hitec 5625S servo
has a faster responce time than a Hitec 925 Analog servo .
Therefor a 5625 would be a better tail servo than a 925 for a heli even though
the 925 has a faster speed than the 5625 ???
Thanks in advance
Fred..

Yah, I think that quote is in reference to the 'deadpan', or the span of time between checks made by the servo to see where it should be. It monitors where its position should be 10x more often then the average servo.

Digital servos have about a 50% faster responce time over an analog servo but I think you are confusing that with transit time. The 925 would still be a better choice for a tail rotor over the 5625 due to the transit speed and coreless motor.
