Hitec Receivers
Mike,
I fly JR radios and have never had a problem with any of your receivers, however my Dad has both Futaba and Hitec radios and seems to be having some problems that I hope you can address.
I am probably not going to get be able to give all of the facts as to what is happening but I hope I will give you enough to help.
A little bit about the problem. It seems that when he uses a Hitec receiver with one of his Futaba radios it glitches when he throws say the gear switch, yet another receiver does not do that. Also the same receiver seems to work properly with another transmitter etc.
First I know that Futaba had both a low and high frequency for their receivers. It that the case with Hitecs that are to be used with Futaba Radios?
Any information you may provide will be appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

RE: Hitec Receivers
There is no way for me to know what is happening. The best thing to do is have the equipment checked out if you think there is a problem. Hitec receivers can accept any channel crystal; they are not high and low band like the Futabas.
