Default Voltage regulators

Hey Mike,
I'm in the process of putting together a 1/3 SA with (6) 5945's, (1) 5735, (1) 545BB, and (1) 225BB. I will be using (2) 6v 1650mAh NiMH packs and (2) HD switches into one receiver. This will be my first experience with 6v power. My question is concerning the use of voltage regulators. I've done a little searching and it seems as though they are not recommended. A fresh charge in these packs yields about 7.5v. Will running two 6v packs without regulators cause any short or long term problems with the servos I'm using? Thanks in advance.

No, it's fine to use a 5 cell pack without a regulator; the servos can handle it with no problems.

Mike.

Thanks for the response Mike, I appreciate the info. On a side note, I've heard some people say that servos can get a little jittery from a freshly charged 5-cell pack without a voltage regulator. I have never actually witnessed this, can it happen with the servos I've listed?
