Mike,
I'd like to lighten things up a bit in my NEON (HS-55 servos) radio. The battery pack uses 4 full size AAA batteries. Is there any way to use a rechargable pack with, say, 1/3 AAA Ni-Cads?
Does Hi-Tec make such a battery pack? Can I find one somewhere else? Do I have to make my own? On average, how long would smaller batteries last in flight time?
Thanks for your help,
George

I forgot: the radio is for a small nitro-powered model. The batteries need to power just the receiver and servos.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sure, I'd go with our new NiMh 750mah pack. http://www.hitecrcd.com/Accesories/battery.htm
They will last all day.
Mike.

Mike,
How much does that HI-TEC battery pack weigh? I'm not so interested in duration-- I want to take an oz off the 2.1 oz weight of a 4XAAA battery pack.
That pack that you recommend looks like a 1/3 AA pack???
Thanks

Yeah, that's kind of heavy. I need something much lighter.
Does anyone make a battery pack for 4.8V and 110 mAH? Where should I look? Does HI-TEC sell a connector for an alternate battery pack?
Thanks for your help.
