I have a Raptor 50 Heli and am currently running 2 Hitec 605's for the cyclic controls. I want to upgrade to take out some slop around center and still maintain a fast, strong response. However, my budget is tight so I need something not too much more than the $30.00 spent for each 605. What servos do you recommend?

Your choices are limited in that price range. The 545 or 525's have always been a good choice for helis because they offer great centering and resolution due to the 5-pole motor.

Mike,
What is a Hitec servo that would fit my needs, not overly expensive and has the carbonite (karbonite???) gears. I am hearing good things about them. Right now I have slop along with poor centering on my 605's...will their be a noticable lack of slop in the gears?

The 5475HB would be the best choice in your price range. The digital processor makes for solid centering and resolution and it does use the Karbonite gears that will not develope slop over time.
