Hi all,

I have got a lot of questions lately about what servos to use in different size heli's. It just so happens that one of our service technitions Steve Morton is an advanced level heli pilot so listed below are his recommended servo choices in the various size choppers.

General flying or 3D


Set-up for 30 sizes:

Throttle 525

Cyclic control 545x3

Tail rotor 925 or 5925

I use 925

Gyro 401-601

Battery 1650 NiMH 6v AA cells

6 volts works great in this application


For 60 size Heli’s:

Throttle 525

Cyclic control 945x3

Tail rotor 925 or 5925

I use 925

Gyro 401-601

Battery 2700AU NiMH 6v
