Are there any aluminum gimbals sticks available for the EVO 9 radio such as the ones on JR Radio? I don’t care for the original fat plastic gimbals sticks. I love my EVO 9 radio, excepts the sticks. They have to be very tight because they are on smooth shaft and not screwed in.

Are you speaking of the gimbals’ sticks or knobs of which you’re in contact with to operate the TX? Did you note that the EVO is shipped with I believe three pair of gimbals’ knobs or sticks for interchange and or user preference.

I know that the EVO 9 comes with extra sticks, but they are all too fat. I am looking for sticks like the ones you find on Futaba and JR. Thin and high quality aluminum.
Thanks

Anyone ever find aluminum sticks for the EVO? I use the short plastic ones that came with the radio and fly thumbs only and the points on the sticks are getting dull and slippery.

I've seen some pro heli pilots glue a tiny circle of sandpaper to the tips of the sticks. This provided (seems to) the precise control they demand for competition.

Multiplex makes a pair of aluminum sticks very similar to the JR's. Item number 75304 Since these fit the Royal Pro I assume they fit the Evo as well. These may be obtained fromAndy's Hobbyshop in Germany. They are friendly and very professional if in stock they ship fast. Hope this helps.
