Default discharging transmitter batteries

Can you discharge an Eclipse 7 form the charging port. Futaba has the protection diode so you cannot do this, I was not sure about Hitec. It is a pain to remove the battery every time I want to cylce batteries.

Default RE: discharging transmitter batteries

Yes you can, but you have to short a diode. I did this on my Hitec Focus 6, and it works fine.

Have a look at http://www.siriuselectronics.com/hit_ecl7.html
