Default Hey Mike-- am I asking for trouble?

Setting up a new plane with 7 digitial servos (5945s) and a throttle. I have got 2 new Nimah 1400 ma packs @ 4.8V. My first thought was to run 2 batteries complete with 2 switches and the second plugged into a spare channel. My motivation is backup in case one system fails. It is a bipe with 6 of the 7 servos connected to a Y connector. Do you see a problem with this battery set up? Is it enough power for the servos and do you think the 3 Y connectors (4 servos on ailirons and 2 on the elevator) will be an issue. All is 22 gauge extentions and connectors. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would use a 6 volt set-up. IMHO
