Concerning the Ni-cd charger that came with the radio (CG-25A) ... When full charge is complete...What indication is there when the radio battery pack is charged ???

There is no indicator since it is a slow charge not a peak charger. It should take about 12 hours for a full charge but don't worry, you can leave it on for a few days and it won't hurt the battery since the charge rate (50ma) is so low.
A good rule of thumb is to put your equipment on the charge the night before you plan to use it.
