Default 475hb,6635hb,6985hb gear train

What is the relative strength of the Karbonite gear train in the 475HB, 6635HB and 6985HB servos. I know that these servos stretch the torque/speed spectrum, but I am curious if the share the same strength gear train. If they are different how would you compare them?

I am setting up a 10 pound 3D plane with 45°+ deflection on large control surfaces. Was thinking about using your 6625MG servos, but the new Karbonite one's look great also.

The geartrain in the 635/6635HB and 69XX series servos are approximately 30% thicker so are stronger than the 475/5475HB servos. We recommend an 8 lb limit per servo per control surface with the 475 and 5475, but increase that to 12lbs with the 635/6635 and 69XX series servos.

Mike, what do you mean by an 8 to 12 lb limit per control surface?
Thanks,
Bill

One servo per control surface... I.E. one servo per aileron, one per elevator, one per rudder. If the model is heavier than that you will need to either go to metal gears or double up the servos. For example, a 24lb aircraft could use the 6985HB servos if there were two on each aileron, one on each elevator half, and two on the rudder.

I hope this help.

Mike.
