HI,
Just saw a thread in here where a Flash 5 user experienced self chew-up of an E-Prom when he accidently let his battery go flat. I assumed from that there is no under voltage write protect in that Tx? What about Eclipse & Optic. The chances of running flat in those are much higher than with Flash. ( I get 3 to 3.5 hrs on my Flash & 50 to 70 minutes on Optic.) If Optic should be inadvertantly left on am I faced with a service return or does it have protection to cleanly shutdown berfore it starts corrupting its own firmware?
