I just got my Optic 6 and so far think it's great. I am still setting the TX up for my aircraft and am having trouble setting up the throttle.
The manual say's to set throttle trim to +25% and that's were I run into the problem. My TX let's me set negative throttle trim, but when I push the trim lever up/forward nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing a step. Any help would be great.

The throttle trim on the Optic can be set between 0% and -50%. You will only be able to set the trim when the stick is in the full down or off position.

Why is that?
Sometimes it's awfully nice to be able to change the trim while the engine is at something other than idle.
With my 3D ships I usually fly with a medium idle for most of the flight (so that there's no chance of it dying in hi-G manuvers with the throttle cut right back) but I do like to bring it down to a lower tick-over for landings. It's always *much* easier to tweak the throttel trim when you've got some power on rather than when you're *at* idle in such cases.
I also notice that on my E7 I can only adjust the idle trim with the flight-condition switch set to one position -- on the other positions the trim just doesn't work (the Optic 6 maybe the same but I'm not using the FC switch yet). Why's that?

X-Jet- The throttle trim on most radios only works below 50% stick travel. This is so not to affect the high thottle end point.

Thanks!
