HiTec Service,
It's nearly four months since I discovered the ADIF/CROW design errors/omissions in my then long-awaited Optic 6. WHEN CAN I EXPECT SOME ACTION? I hope that those of us who have served as Guinea Pigs, reported our findings first & endured these defects longest, will get the first opportunities for the "fix", should it ever materialize.

To be fair, I suspect that the guys at Hitec USA probably know as little as anyone else does and are waiting for news from Korea (or wherever) like us.
I have to admit though that I find Hitec's slowness to address problems increasingly annoying and it looks as if some Optic 6 transmitters may even be out of warranty by the time the fix is available -- although I'm sure they'll still honor their warranty for related issues.
Ultimately it's a buyer's market however, and if you feel that Hitec aren't performing you can always vote with your wallet.
Remember that it's all about value and, regardless of their failings, Hitec still rate pretty highly for value, at least where their servos and Optic 6 transmitter are concerned.
As for me -- well I'm happy (for the time being) to live with the situation, although this may change if my O6 turns out to be one of the (alleged) 1% that comes up with the AAAAA flaw. I might add however, that I have kind of given up on buying a a planeload worth of Hitec TG digitals until the 1.03 vs 1.04 programmer/servo issue is sorted -- something else that seems to have taken a wholely unreasonable amount of time.
That Hitec Korea seem to be either incapable of fixing some of these problems, or have given them a very low priority is perhaps most worrying of all. What happens if a more severe flaw is discovered?
