I am building an Aeroworks 36% Katana. I will be using the following servos
Elevator two (2) 5945s on a 50" long extension
Ailerons four (4) 5945s each side is on its own channel with a Y on each side 24" extension to the inner servo and a 48" extension to the outer servo, on each side.
Rudder one (1) 5955 on a 12" extension.
Throttle one (1) 5475 on a 12" extension.
Choke one (1) 422 on a 12" extension.
all extensions are 20 gauge wire.
I will be running this through an I4c power isolator. I was planning on powering the servos with two (2) 2100 mAh 5 cell AA size NiMH packs, will this be enough power or should I get larger packs?
Thanks
Stephen

Your equipment selection sounds fine.
The 2100mAh NiMH cells should be fine, HOWEVER you'll need to monitor and load test them between flights. I suspect you'll get a few flights and need to recharge to maintain loaded voltage.
Why are the aileron servo extensions so LONG? I use tailor made extension/wyes for wings, in this case a ONE piece wye-extension custom made to length would be used. These cost less than the combined cost of the wyes and extensions and are far superior IMO...
Several companies offer these services or you can do it yourself if you have the skills. I spend about $20.00 per unit and find it well worth it.

How much load should I put on the system to check the battery level in between flights. I think I use a 1 amp load for my 1/4 scale currently,I doubt thats enough for this setup.
Who makes these custom Ys, I could probably make them myself, but I'd rather have them made?
Thanks
