Default hs-645 slop question

I am unsure if I have a problem or not. I noticed on my plane that both of my elivator servos had a little play to teir shaft. It seems as though I can wiggle the shaft just a bit I am not talking about gear slop moving the gear through it's motion. I can grab the servo arm and the shaf can bw wiggled just a bit, is thi Normal? I ask because the new ones I have don't do this. I do however have one new (only 1 flight) hs-625 that does this as well.

Thanks,
Rob

How much are they moving? Also are you sure it is the shaft moving and not the horn on the shaft? Normally there is no shaft movement. The only time I've seen any, is when someone installed new gears and forgot to add the top bearing.

It is the definitely the shaft moving. The servos seem to be working fine but the shaft moving is unsettling. If I buy the gear set kit will it fix this? DO you think I should be concerned?

Best,
Rob

Rob

I'd suggest returning the suspect servos to Hitec for evaluation and repairs if needed.

Hitec Service is well known for taking good care of its customers. If the servos are defective they'll be repaired free of charges.
