Default Servo "steps" with Multiplex RX 12 synth IPD

I'm using a Multiplex 12ch Synth DS IPD RX with my JR PCM10S TX,
I noticed that with the IPD "on" , the servos take quite big steps if I move the sticks very slowly.
At the trailing edge of the control surfaces it's about 1mm ( .04" ) per "step". With the IPD switched off, or with another "normal" RX, the servos move smoothly.
So it must have something to do with the IPD.
The servo travel is not reduced on the tx, so that's not the cause (set at 110%)

Such a shame, as I got more range & no glitches with this RX than the JR PCM 10 ch RX, which I was using before
But at high speeds (fitted in turbine model) 1mm minimum movements is to much IMHO

Any one else noticed this?

Any suggestions?

I'll see if I can substantiate any information in this regard. Give me a few days.

Viper 1

I just experienced the exact same thing yesterday. I had my plane out at the field, it range checked perfectly but the servos STEPPED just like you described. It is a brand new radio and receiver.

For the record, what TX are you using Paul?

I am using the multiplex royal evo 12 channel synth radio. I've tried using it with some Futaba ppm receivers that I have and everything works smoothly. The stepping occurs only when I use the 12 channel synth receiver.

Ok, I'm using a JR TX, but that's not the issue than. Apparently it also shows up with a complete Multiplex setup

Thanks Paul

Would like to add that, in contrary to what I expected (see my 1st post), I had a few flights in the mean time with my jet, and it does not show.
Flights are smoothly, Even at high speeds the "steps" don't seem to influence the flight behaviour.
