Default Hitec 3 Minimal Transmitter Range

Any suggestions please,. Hitec Focus 27Mhz AM. Zagi foamie.I have a range of 20-30 yards before I lose radio controll. At the moment i am using a Futaba FP-R3F Receiver , Previously I had a micro receiver and thought that was the problem but the range remains the same. Aerials are original length. Led shows full battery.Looked inside transmitter but all looks ok Trying to learn to fly is just impossible! Thanks

Default RE: Hitec 3 Minimal Transmitter Range

Generally, poor range is related to a receiver problem. If you tried another receiver and still had poor range, then it could be the power output of the transmitter. Contact our distributor in the UK to arrange to have it looked at. Their name is Amerang and their contact info can be found on our website.
