Default Hitec Challenger 720 Receiver Question

Some years ago I bought an Aristocraft Hitec Challenger 720 Radio System to convert it to a ground frequency (Channel 82) to be used in a scale model boat. I built one of the ACE RF kits and Receiver to use with this radio. As this was the beginning of FM radios I would believe that the RF Module would not be different from the original in transmitting only in Frequency. What I would like to know is in todays receivers (Single Conversion, Dual Conversion, +shift, -Shift) what would be compatible, would a Hitec -shift FM receiver work with this Radio?
Thanks,

Alex Gray

Default RE: Hitec Challenger 720 Receiver Question

If the unit is on a ground frequency, you would want either our Supreme 75MHz, the DCX or the HFS-03mm. All the above are negative shift.
