Default Lost Plane

I have quite a few problems lately with HiTec servos, and after reading this thread, I was wondering if there had been any problems with running 5645 servos through a HiTec Supreme 8 channel receiver (FM) with a Futaba 7CAP TX? I had a wye running off one channel each for both ailerons and elevators. This setup was in my Morrissey Bravo, and 4 servos melted on preflight. All extensions were HD 22 gauge wire and gold connectors (factory). Extensions were 24". I had this same setup in a Yellow Aircraft 25% Extra, and during flight, the plane went nuts on a straight run, I lost complete control of everything except the throttle, and the plane demolished itself in a tree. After it happened, my first thought was that I did something to cause this crash, but now, after my Bravo failures, and the topic here, I have begun to rethink this crash as well. HiTec service has had the reciever and 2 of the burned servos for 3 weeks now, but have not inspected the returned equipment yet. I have gone over the buildup of these 2 airplanes, and all control setups were carbon rods and titanium ends, with absolutely no binding, correct horns, etc. Can you help me? I would just like to know if there has been some inherent problems with setups such as this, so possibly I won't have to lose any more planes due to servo and receiver problems. I have a CompArf 2x2 I'm ready to put in the air, but I don't know if I should risk it. Also have a Carden Edge 35% ready to setup with HiTecs. There are thousands of dollars in these 2 airplanes, so please don't hold back, and help me avoid the possibility of losing these.
