Default very noisy 5945 v1.03

I have 2 5945 v 1.03 brand new, on 6v w/ 10 amp regulator thru y harness w/ choke and amplifier, 3000 MA nmh, PCM FUT rx,
for the elevator halves on my 27% ultimate
They work great, but are incredibly noisy compared to my 5625's They emit a high pich just like the 5625's, but louder, AND every once in a while they will make a 'static like' sound, with a little electrical crackle.(like white noise on a radio or television) when it does this, if i touch the servo arm or bump the TX stick, it stops. The linkage is OK, no binding.
They dont make the static noise when thy are traveling, only when they are holding. It does it on all chanels, w/ or w/o y.
The servos do not 'droop' and when you try to move them w/ power off, they have tension similar to a regular servo.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Default RE: very noisy 5945 v1.03

The coreless motor acts as a better speaker than the 3 pole motor found in the HS5645. Because of this, the high frequency noise is louder but perfectly normal. As for drooping, most times they won't because of the motor design. Rather than having motor brushes that look like the tines of a fork, they have actual brushes similar to those used in the RC car motors. This cause them to be a little stiffer, but increase durability.
