I am setting up an EVO 12, and am a first time EVO user. I have managed to get all the controls working and the servo movements calibrated. My trouble began when I tried to set up the mixers. I want two mixers in addition to those set up already in the ACRO template.
1) I want 5 degrees of up elevator with right rudder, and 0 degrees with left rudder. I set up a mixer called Rud/Elev with Rudder as the first input and elevator as the second input in the Setup menu. I then set the rudder travel at 100% and elevator travel at 20% (just so I could be sure to see it) in the Mixer menu.
What I get is rudder movement when I move the elevator stick. I don't want this. I have been uable to get elevator movement when I move the rudder stick. (In Asian radio speak, I want the rudder to be the master)
2) I also want the rudder to move a few degrees as I advance the throttle. I set up a Thr/Rud mixer, but I can't get this one to work at all.
At this point, I am one frustrated pilot. Please help.

It sounds like you assigned the rudder servo to the mixer, whereas you should assign the elevator servo to the mixer, thats why rudder is responding to elevator. At this stage before we make the throttle-rudder mix, the rudder servo should be assigned direct to the rudder control and not to a mixer. Your mixer's rudder input should be the asymetrical curve as this will allow for different elevator response to left and right rudder.
For throttle to rudder make a mixer with rudder as input, sym or asym curve, and throttle as input with asym curve, both set to on and not to Mix1-3. Assign the rudder servo to this mixer. The throttle servo should remian assigned direct to the throttle function and not to a mixer. In the mixers menu set rudder input values to 100% and throttle to some low values eg 5%.

Thanks Harry, I think I got it. Both mixes are working now. Instead of making a new mixer for the elevators, I added rudder as an input to the main mixer for the elevator from the ACRO template. This stuff is starting to make sense.
