In the last 2 months i've had 4 5745's die on me
the first 3 just went full lock one way but yesterday i had the throttle go wide open on my all alloy FG MT luckily no damage occured. When the first 1 died i started reading up on servos some people say to have the epa set at about 90% is this correct? I'm using a Hitec flash 4 pro which will allow 125% epa surely if this kills servos it shouldn't be that adjustable. I'm using a 2400mah 6v battery pack, hs033 receiver with built in failsafe, 5745's for throttle and steering and a Hitec flash 4 pro transmitter in an FG MT and a J&A Mamba what am i doing wrong?
p.s. the sticker on the servo's says v1.03 if that means much to anyone here.

The 5475's are not really intended for cars. And, digital servos on the throttle can be tricky to set up or they will pull too much current and burn up. I would suggest the 5645MG for steering and the 525BB for throttle as a better choice.

The EPA should be set so the servo does not bind or work too hard; this will cause the motor and amplifier to heat up and fail. Try moving the linkage closer to the center screw which will give the servo more mechanical advantage, then set the EPA to the point where the servo does not travel too far. This setting can be anything so don't just go off of numbers.
