How are you "reversing" the servo? If done thru the radio in the servo reversing screen the trim should work "normally".
What plane are you flying?
You may want to try a fresh model memory or re-set that one to default ans start over with the programming.

the plane is a Zagi THL with elevon mixing. I had the same problem with a Mugi on a different model memory. It happens when I have to reverse the servos to function as elevators, but they are working correct as ailerons.

I am reversing thru the radio. I have tried both reversing the servo in the radio and changing the elevon mix to negative settings. I will try to reset the memory location.

Changing the Elevon mix to negative settings could be the issue here. Another factor is you may want to swap the servos in ch. 1 and 2 ports of the Rx. to achieve proper servo arm movement direction.
