Mike,
Several years ago, I bought a Hitec flight pack, and told them I wanted a receiver that would work with an old (1992) World Engines Expert transmitter on channel 31. They sent it, and it worked fine for years.
Now I just bought a Futaba 6XA (used) on channel 21. It is the 3 model version, and I want to use my Hitec Rx with it. Can I do this by changing the Rx crystal?
Are there any other problems that may arise?
Tim

Changing crystals won't matter a bit, but I am not sure if the world engines radios were postive or negative shift. What is the model# of the receiver?
Mike.

Mike,
Thanks for your response, now where do I buy a crystal for the receiver in question?
I have looked at Hitec website, but did not find a link to crystals, looked at Tower, but it was AM or 75 Mhz...
Can you point me in the right direction here?
Thanks again,
Tim

Hi Mike-
I have a HiTech Laser 6 radio/reciever I use on an Areobat.I recently ordered a HiTech flight pack with the same channel crystal (36) to put in a Lanier Stinger and use the same transmitter that I have now. Two questions-what is the little red bridge wire in the picture plugged into what looks like the battery plug in the reciever, and is there anything else I have to buy to make this flight pack work with my transmitter? (It comes with the reciever,ch. 36 crystal,4 HS425 servos, battery, charge jack and aileron extension. Please let me know when you can. Thanks so much,
Mike
