Default Electron 6 tuning

I use a base loaded antenna with my electon 6, and I am getting glitching at a shorter range than I would like. I want to try and tune the reciever to get a better range, but I don't want to go screwing with the pots without advice. The basic question is which of the pots is/are used to tune the antenna and also, what do the other pots do?? There are 4 total pots that I see, 3 with allen heads, and one with a phillips head. Any help with this project would be greatly appreciated. I can post a pic if needed to clarify the situation. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't go here. Without the proper equipment and know how it's hit and miss. I'd recommend sending the RX to Hitec Service and ask them to have a look at it. Evaluation is free and an alignment charge is $5.00.
