Default Dual rates on Focus 4 buddy box?

Hi Mike,

First of all let me say that I love my new Eclipse 7 and that my experience with Hitec pre and post sales has been excellent!

I am using my old Focus 4 as a buddy box for my Eclipse. If I set up flight conditions and dual rates on the Eclipse will the buddy box use what ever the Eclipse is currently set for?

Thanks,
C.P.

Sorry no. You would need another Eclipse for those functions. The buddy box is limited to its own capabilities.

Default Dual rates on Focus 4 buddy box?

Thanks Mike,

What if I reverse the order? I use the Focus 4 as the master and the Eclipse 7 as the trainer? Would it work then?

Thanks again,
C.P.

Use standard Hitec one way trainer lead. With Focus as Master, the dual rates will function when the slave only is being used. Allocate one model memory in the Eclipse as "slave" for training purposes with mode set on PPM - it will then retain all settings for that trainer. Full information at Hitec Trainer (Buddy) System Update - New "Stereo Plug" system and how to use.
