I was flying my 1/2 a pylon racer today, dead stick landed in the high grass. The antennae, being much longer than the plane, stretches out freely behind the fuse. As I picked up the plane, I didn't notice that I was standing on the antennae and I snapped about 4 inches from the end. I couldn't find the missing piece in the high grass. I did a range check and amazingly enough, it was fine. I am not too sure I should fly it though, what do you think?
Can it be sent in to get checked, would it be worth it?

While we don't ever suggest that you should shorten your antenna, the loss of 4" should not make any difference in the performance. I would suggest you clean up the end so there are no fray wires hanging out.
