I just go a new Eclipse 7 radio and was wanting to find out kind of connector is on the end of the transmitter battery? I would like to make a cable to be able to cycle the battery outside the transmitter (since I can't with it in the transmitter). I would buy one ready made, if anyone has any idea where such a thing could be found, with banana plugs on the other end.
TIA

Hitec sells the plug PN 58307 with pig tails on it. Another alternative is to break the case off an old aileron extension plug, peel off the signal lead and put colored coded shrinkwrap on the upper portion of the remaining metal connectors these can be plugged directly into plug on the tx batt. just be careful of polarity (been doing it this way for some years now).

John,
Thanks for the information about the connector. Your idea about using an extension is a great idea, I never thought about that but from looking at one it would be easy to modify.
