Default 5925 dead band

Hi.

I have installed a pair of 5925 servos in a pattern model. I've used 5925 in the past for pattern and liked them, but these new servos I bought have problem to center properly. The dead band seem to be way to wide. I'm wondering if this can be improved by using the hitec programmer? I know the programmer can set dead band width, but is the default dead band set to the tightest possible or can it be set tighter? What are the recommendations for adjusting the dead band other then the default setting?

Thanks
David

Default RE: 5925 dead band

The servos factory default setting should be the highest available. The servos of old and new have the same dead-band setting parameters. The programmer can be used to modify and or verify the dead-band setting. Lower numbers net tighter the dead-band settings. Look closely at the rest of your setup for undesirable linkage and deflection rations and TX programmable parameters.
