Hello!
I have this quite old Hitec HFD-07RA receiver, I gues it has been burnt because of wrong polarity of the battery. Is there any change to fix it by replacing couple of smd-chips on the pcb, or is it compeletely gone to receiver heaven?
If it is possible to repair, I would be happy if someone could tell me some tips where to start troubleshooting. Is there for example any kind of protective circuit or component(fuse or diode) that could have been blown? I havenīt looked the pcb closer yet.
I think Iīm not going to send it to Hitecīs repair, itīs so long way from here Finland and it would be propably cheaper to buy a new one.
Thanks for answers, if any

Anyway, I will check the pcb someday, but propably you are right. Iīll let you know if I get it working somehow.
Thanks.
