Mike
There have been many debates about this. I have built a .30 size profile plane. It should weigh around 3.4 lbs when finished. I started out with HS 81MGs and an HS 85MG for the rudder. Then all the Profile Brothers said the 81 was too small. I would have moved to the 225s but I'm hearing all of this centering stuff about them so I went with the 422BBs. Then some of the Brothers said that they were way too heavy. What do you think? What would be a good compromise with good centering? Money is a little bit of an issue. I should be able to trade in the 422s at my LHS for other Hitec servos.

All designs are a compromise.
I like standard size servos when large over-sized flight control surfaces are used. My choice would be HS-525BB servos.
422BB's will work, 225BB's will work but the 81MG's and 85's are too small.
