Default New Hitec Programmer?

I just saw HFP-20 on Tower Hobbies and it is another Hitec programmer..

What is the difference between this new one and the old one?

Any screenshots available?

Also expected release date?

1. refer earlier comment HFP-20
2. Yes - shows name change.
3. End Oct 07 but depends upon which country you are in and your Distributor's schedule.

THe HFP-20 is for the new 79XX series servos which offer 2 times the resolution of the 59XX series and overload protection; these are the added functions in the HFP-20. They are not due until early '08 and will be backwards compatible with all the previous digital servos.

The simple answer is yes. Basically the servo moves in finer increments for smoother, more precice control requardless of the transmitter.

No, HFP-10 can not be upgraded.
An earlier product announcement may assist. New High Performance Digi Servos From Hitec . NB: All G2 premium digital servos are equipped with coreless motors and dual ball bearings.
