Default Is the 5645 a coreless servo?

I've got 2 of the 5645 servos and 2 of the 5925 servos.

I know that the 5925 are coreless.

What about the 5645?

How is the performance of the 5645?

I did a search on this forum about the 5645. It doesn't bolster a lot of confidence. I've read a bunch of horror stories about the 5645 failing on critical flight control surfaces.

I think the 5925 will be fine for my plane. But I'm thinking about getting rid of the 5645 before I ever use them.

Someone please help aleviate my fears.

They are not coreless, they are 3 pole motors. I am getting 5645s for my ailerons and elevators in my H9 Edge and 1 Hitec 5945 on the rudder. I have seen the reports of the Hitec 56** series. They have been fixed now and if you go to www.hitecrcd.com you can see they have the dates on the servos which came from a bad batch. As long as you do extensive bench testing you will be fine. JR 8411s have failed, there digital also, just happens sometimes.

Shortman...Where on the hitec site can you find info on the bad batch date? I can't seem to find it.

Thanks
