Multiplex/Hitec and 2,4 GHz?
I know, I am probably bothering you, but nevertheless this is an important question:
Will Multiplex/Hitec offer a 2,4 GHz-System in the foreseeable future?
This is important, because lot's of potential customers are looking for this new more safe, more easy to handle system
right now.
The transmitters from Multiplex (Royal Evo Pro) are very easy to program and offer more flexibility in programing, then other
brands do. I personally don't like to mix-up brands (Multiplex Tx with a XPS or Spektrum or Futaba-module).
I would like more everything offered by only one manufacturer.
I can wait a certain time for 2,4 GHz-stuff offered by Multiplex, but I would like to know how long and
if it will be on the market at all.
If there is no answer to this subject, I am afraid, lot's of potential customers will by there new
equipment from other brands.
Thank you.
Udo

RE: Multiplex/Hitec and 2,4 GHz?
Hitec plans to release 2.4Ghz in the USA within the year. Multiplex in Germany is in a different postition due to the European standards which seem to keep changing. You can read their official stance on this subject here: http://www.multiplex-rc.de/cms/vorsc...ges/2_4_GB.pdf

RE: Multiplex/Hitec and 2,4 GHz?
If, as and when Hitec release a 2.4Ghz system, will it be something completely new or will it be an RF module that will be plug-compatible with the plug-in RF module on, for example, the Optic 6?
thanks
