Default 2.4 Ghz from Multiplex in 2009

I found this pdf file from another forum which states that the 2.4 Ghz module will be available in 2009 provided that the EVO is upgraded at the factory to Royal Pro (for Europe market).

Are we going to have to upgrade to Royal Pro in order to be able use the 2.4 GHz module?

Thanks

Unfortunately, we don't have enough info from Multiplex at this time to know exactly how this will play out in the USA.

We're trying to find out and will post the info when it becomes available.

Hey Mike...is there any plans or development on a CRX 2.4 Ghz Spread Spectrum System. I am a long time Hitec Supporter/racer and would love a 2.4 system.

Possibly, but you can always plug in the Spektrum 2.4ghz module available now.

No. We're talking about a Hitec pistol grip radio. The Spektrum module I'm referring to is found here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SPM1014

Isn't it a shame that we're the only ones waiting for our mfr to give us a 2.4 GHz module/RX for our Xmitters? I sure didn't anticipate this kind of wait when I bought my Eclipse.

Can this also be used with the Lynx 3D? I have two with the Spectra modules and Novak xxtra recievers. All is still working great, radios are still awsome I don't see any need to replace the radios if the Spektrum will work. Let me know!

Here is another link....
[link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/6400]Spektrum_for_Hitec_at_AmainHobbies[/link]

This is the module and rcvr made by Spektrum for the Hitec Radios. Works in the Lynx 3D, SRX, and CRX radios.
