I bought a used plane that has HS-80 servos in it.
They look to be the same size as the HS-81 servos.
I can not find the specs for them anywhere.
Can someone tell me the speed, torque, and voltage for the HS-80 servos?
Thanks,
TW

The HS-80 wasreplaced by the HS-81 circa 1989-2000.
HS-80 measures 28 mm x 13.7 mmx 28.2 mm ( 1.1" x .5" x 1.1") and weighs17.5 gm (.62oz) HS-80<G weighs 20.3 gm..
At 4.8Vpower output is 2.2 kg/cm (31 inch/ounces of torque) with a speed of .15 seconds for 60 degrees of rotation.
At 6.0V power output is2.7 kg/cm (38 inch/ounces of torque) with a speed of .12 seconds for 60 degrees of rotation.
Was available with any one of JR/Hitec, Futaba J, and both old and new Airtronics connectors.
HS80 and HS101 use the same gearset #56234- discontinued.
HS-80 &HS-80MGCase set #56233 - discontinued.
Hitec HS-81
Specifications are very similar at about 1.2" x .5" x 1.27" and weighs .6oz.
At 4.8V its power output is 38 inch/ounces of torque with a speed of .10 seconds for 60 degrees of rotation.
HS-81 uses a different gear set, not interchangeable with HS-80

Hey Alan,
can I put HS81 MG gears in a regular HS81 servo?
