Tx battery voltage drops in brand new Optic 6 2.4 Ghz
Hi,
A couple of days back I received my brand new Optic 6 2.4 Ghz radio by post. The looks are great and the feeling to hold your own brand new radio is exhilarating.
So as per the manual, I did charge my radio overnight using the overnight wall charger. In the morning the voltage was 11.4V and when I checked powered ON the transmitter again in the night the voltage reading was 10.5V.
Is this kind of voltage drop for the transmitter radio expected ? If not what can be done to rectify this situation.
In the user manual, I could not find any description of transmitter's battery voltage range. Can anyone post on that !

RE: Tx battery voltage drops in brand new Optic 6 2.4 Ghz
This is normal. NiCad's and NiMh batteries will do this as they self discharge over time when sitting. There will be some voltage drop after a battery is fully charged and then it will level out.
