Optic 6 Programming assistance needed
Greetings,
I have an Optic 6 Radio with the Spectra RF module (FM). I have installed a smoke system and would like to control the flow using the LEFT LEVER (Channel 6). This actually works without any programming, but I want to be able to turn it on and off using SW-4 on the top right of the radio. I tried using the PMX 2 to solve my problem, but it didn't quite work out correctly. I assigned the Throttle as Master, and the Left Lever as Slave. I then assigned Switch 4 to activate the mix. Well, now I can still adjust the flow with the Lever, but now when I flip switch 4, the flow comes on at full force.
I want to be able to set the lever to where I am getting a good plume of smoke and simply activate it on and off during flight by flipping a switch. It sounds easy enough, but it has definately got me stumped.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

So perhaps I am setting this up completely wrong!
I just want to be able to set the flow (on the fly) and be able to activate/deactivate with a switch. I can do this on my Futaba 6EXA and I just recently purchased the Optic and was hoping to switch all of my current aircraft to this new radio.
The receiver is the Hitech HFD-08RD
The smoke system is from TME
Any support / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
