A9 flaperon issue
 

I came across this problem setting up my plane with flaperons on the A9.

Problem 1: With flaps selected, when i move any of the trims the flaps move excessively. Flaps retracted no issues at all.

Problem 2: In monitor mode ch 5 is sluggish and slow when flaps selected. With no flaps the problem goes away. When not in monitor mode ch 5 works perfect. I change servo leads, no difference. When not in monitor mode ch 5 works perfect so brand new servo seems to be ok.

Any ideas?.

For what ever reason your video starts then sits there with a little symbol chasing itself in a circle.
Most programming errors are caused by inserting data in the wrong order:

. Aurora 9 - Programming Problem? - Parameters must be set in correct order e.g. V_tail, see chart.

Check your data input against:
. Aurora 9 - Flapperon - Flaps - Set up.

Thanks for the quick reply Alan. I'll try those steps first and see what happens. Not sure about the youtube vid works ok on my end.

Hi Alan I followed those steps and still having same problems as noted in the first post. Ch5 is lagging behind for some reason. I deleted the model from the Tx and started from scratch still same issues with ch5 slow and trims making flaperons fully retract when any of the trims are touched. Any luck on the youtube vid playing properly for you. I'm not giving up on this is radio. Its very easy to program and very user friendly I love this radio. Tx is version 1.07
